Adding Your Game Cover Art to Twitch's Directory
Twitch has a pretty comprehensive guide here.
TL;DR: Games are added from IGDB, and to change the cover image for your game, you will need to sign up as a Twitch Developer Organization to manage your game on Twitch.
Asset List for Streaming
Use this asset list to set up for your own stream or to provide branded assets to others.
Stream Asset List
Software
- OBS
- Lightweight streaming solution without a lot of fluff. Good for simple setups or extremely advanced users who need a lot more flexibility.
- Streamlabs
- Slightly friendlier UI than OBS, has a bunch of free pre-made set-ups. Also includes features like AlertBox, Chatbox, and other interactive widgets. The downside is that it eats up a lot more RAM and video resources.
- Restream
- Great way to stream to multiple platforms at the same time (YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook). Also aggregates the chat from all sources. Just be mindful that Twitch affiliate or partner status prevents you from restreaming to other platforms at the same time.
Useful Twitch Tools
- SullyGnome
- Great for seeing streamer stats, such as those streaming your game or games similar to yours
- Twitch Tracker
- Great for seeing streamer stats, such as those streaming your game or games similar to yours
- JumpCutter
- Uses AI to indicate highly engaged sections on Twitch streams for potential highlights.
Other Useful Things
- Tiltify
- Great for charity streams as they have both panel extensions for easy donations as well as simple stream overlays for donation goals.
- BetterTTV
- Animated Twitch emotes. Will only show for users who have the extension.
